Chelsea will be looking to rebound from their disappointing 2-2 draw against Juventus two weeks ago. Unless they want to put themselves in a deep hole as they attempt to defend their UCL title, three points is a must for the Blues.
FC Nordsjaelland vs. Chelsea: Lineups
Roberto di Matteo has put out a mostly first choice lineup in this key match for his side. John Terry and Eden Hazard will start on the bench, with Victor Moses getting his second ever start for Chelsea and his first in the Champions League. Aside from that, there are no real surprises in the lineup and should be more than enough, at least on paper, to get the full three points.
Nordsjaelland's lack of offensive oomph was obvious in their opening round loss to Shakhtar Donetsk and unfortunately for the Danish side, things don't get any easier against the Blues. USMNT defender Michael Parkhurst starts for the Wild Tigers, giving American fans a rooting interest, unless they're already Chelsea fans.
FC Nordsjaelland (4-4-2): Jesper Hansen; Jores Okore, Patrick Mtiliga, Michael Parkhurst, Ivan Runje; Enoch Adu, Nicolai Stokholm, Joshua John, Kasper Lorentzen; Mikkel Beckmann, Morten Nordstrand.
Chelsea (4-2-3-1): Peter Cech; Branislav Ivanović, David Luiz, Gary Cahill, Ashley Cole; Ramires, Frank Lampard; Oscar, Juan Mata, Victor Moses; Fernando Torres.
