Schalke vs. Montpellier 2012, UEFA Champions League: Game time and TV schedule

This really isn’t that interesting. Schalke are good; Montpellier are less good. There’s a lot of ‘yeah but’s that don’t really make sense. Schalke have this.

Schalke have an away win; Montpellier have a home loss. That bodes pretty well for the Germans, but Montpellier had a pretty good run against Group B favourites Arsenal and can't be completely cancelled out for this match at the Veltins-Arena. And although Schalke managed to dispatch Olympiacos in Greece, their domestic form has been patchy -- their most recent excursion was a 2-2 draw against Fortuna Dusseldorf, which wouldn't have been so bad if it hadn't involved throwing away an early two-goal lead.

Plus, Montpellier have John Utaka. Do not question the power of THE MIGHTY UTAKA (this is your weekly reminder to visit johnutaka.com and bask in the glory of his photos section). And they have some good players, too. Sadly for the visitors, they’re struggling to repeat their glorious form from last year in Ligue 1. They’re 13th, with just two wins in seven matches. In retrospect, maybe things aren’t so good for Montpellier after all...
