Anzhi Makhachkala 2-0 BSC Young Boys
Anzhi bounced back from an opening draw against Udinese with a 2-0 victory over Young Boys. The handsomely compensated Samuel Eto'o provided both goals for the home side, scoring on a penalty in the 61st minute and adding a second in second half stoppage time. The loss drops Young Boys to the bottom of the group with still no points earned.

FK Rubin Kazan 2-0 Partizan Belgrade
After everyone in the group drew on the first match day, things opened up a bit today. Rubin defeated Partizan thanks a first half stoppage time goal from Gokdeniz Karadeniz and a goal three minutes in to the second half by Alexander Ryazantsev. The win gives Rubin 4 points and even on points with Inter at the top of the group table.
Neftchi 1-3 Inter Milan
Inter rode three first half goals from Phillippe Coutinho, Chukwuma Joel Obi 30 and Marko Livaja to a 3-1 away victory over Neftchi. The Italian side now has four points and sits a top the group with Rubin Kazan.
