Best of all Pinzi, found it hilarious. But if ever wants to make that transition to the egg shaped football then he has to learn to stomp around after a tackle like this, not chuckle. WE MUST PROTECT THIS HOUSE!
That only earned Pinzi a yellow card, which did not please Liverpool. Brendan Rodgers will surely have something to say about that.
What Rodgers probably won’t discuss is Pinzi’s form. While he gets credit for bringing Downing down, he took a bad angle and had to resort to an arm tackle. Whatever happened to smart angles, breaking down and wrapping up defenders? Mike Ditka would not stand for this.
