In need of money, Greek club signs shirt sponsorship with local brothel
Voukefalas has turned to a local brother for a shirt sponsorship.
That is what the small Greek club Voukefalas had to do, though. Struggling financially and without a shirt sponsor for the last three years, Voukefalas inked a shirt sponsorship with a local brothel.
“When we announced to the players that our sponsor would be a brothel, they wanted to know about bonuses,” the club’s president Giannis Batziolas told local radio station NovaSport FM. “The proposal was made strictly for economic reasons. As soon as the offer was made, we couldn’t turn it down.”
Notice that Batziolas did not say whether this does affect bonuses.
