Atletico Madrid dedicate La Liga title to fans in great video

Celebrate what you are.

It's not so much that Atletico Madrid weren't supposed to win the La Liga title as it was that they didn't have a chance in hell. Nobody besides Real Madrid and Barcelona did.

Even when Atletico Madrid held the league lead going into the last day of the season, they were underdogs. They needed to win or draw against Barcelona at the Camp Nou. It wasn’t going to happen.

And yet, when the season was done, only one team had the La Liga trophy -- Atleti.

Led by Diego Simeone, the fiery manager who used to play for the club, Atletico had beaten two of the biggest clubs in the world to the league title. They had done what no one believed they could do. And they dedicated to their fans, the only ones drunk enough on love for their club to believe they could do it from Day 1, on the final day, or at any point whatsoever.
