PSV Eindhoven supporters are sick of fans at matches staring at their phones and not the field so they have a solution: get rid of wi-fi.
PSV Eindhoven fans protest wi-fi in home stadium
It’s all wi-fi’s fault.

The club’s most loyal supporters really want PSV to ditch the wi-fi they installed at the Philips Stadion before the season. They protested at the last match, holding up signs, chanting against it and featuring a giant banner that read, “f**k wi-fi, support the team”

— Safia (@Safialcantara) August 18, 2014 While some fans said they wanted the club to dismantle the newly installed wi-fi, others said they just wanted fans to stay home if they wanted to stare at a screen. Modern football has made its way to the Netherlands and the fans are not happy about it.
Luckily, devil wi-fi hasn’t kept PSV from winning matches. They’re top of the Eredivsie.
