Faustino Asprilla launching flavored condom line, recommends guava

Guava is “very good for romancing.”

Marco Luzzani

Faustino Asprilla retired in 2004 and has spent his time since appearing on reality shows, starting a youth academy and buying real estate farming land. But the former Colombia international has a new venture now: flavored condoms.

Asprilla is ready to launch the line of condoms in Colombia and production of them has already begun in China. They brand will be called "Tino."

“I think it’s a really cool idea, ” he told Colombian radio show La FM. “They’ll hopefully be launched with a campaign to prevent unplanned teenage pregnancies.”

The condoms will come in a variety of flavors, but which is best?

“I’ll recommend the guava flavor condom,” Asprilla said. “When I was growing up, we had a guava tree in our garden and that’s a flavor and aroma that’s very good for romancing.”

Don’t you want to be very good for romancing?

Asprilla would know. He was offered the chance to star in an Italian porn film last year, but passed.
