The WNBA has announced its participants for the upcoming Three-Point Contest: Toronto Tempo guard Marina Mabrey, Atlanta Dream guard Rhyne Howard, Dallas Wings guard Azzi Fudd, Portland Fire guard Bridget Carleton, Seattle Storm guard Natisha Hiedeman, and Golden State Valkyries forward Janelle Salaün.
Azzi Fudd headlines list of WNBA three-point participants
Marina Mabrey, Rhyne Howard, Azzi Fudd, Bridget Carleton, Natisha Hiedeman, and Janelle Salaün will all be lacing up in the three-point contest.

That doesn’t mean those were the six players the WNBA initially extended invites to; Caitlin Clark, Sabrina Ionescu and Kayla McBride were invited to participate in the three-point contest but declined, per ESPN’s Alexa Philippou. (Clark and Ionescu have both dealt with back injuries this season, but both are currently available).
Nevertheless, it’s a stacked field. Mabrey leads the WNBA in three-point baskets made (3.3), while Howard (3.2) and Carleton (2.6) are second and fourth on the list. Salaün (2.5), Hiedeman (2), and Fudd (2) are also all in the Top 11.
Of the participating players, Salaün has the highest three-point percentage at 39.4%, trailed by Mabrey at 39.2%. Fudd follows shortly with a 38.8% rate, while Carleton is shooting 38.2% from beyond the arc. Howard (35.4%) and Hiedeman (35.2%) have the two lowest three-point percentages in the pack.
Sabrina Ionescu won the three-point contest in 2023 and 2025, while Allisha Gray emerged victorious in 2024.
My projected pick to win the contest is Azzi Fudd. Fudd is currently the third-most efficient player in the pack, but her set shot should help her in a contest setting. That being said — it’s anyone’s game.
