Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar took place in the main event of Survivor Series 2016. WWE promoted this as a dream rematch from their infamously bad match at WrestleMania XX. There were plenty of questions heading into Sunday -- how much did Goldberg have in the tank at age 49? Would he be competitive against the Beast Incarnate, or be next on the list of Lesnar’s many victims? The actual match was something nobody saw coming -- Goldberg destroyed Lesnar in a one-sided beatdown and got the pin within just a couple of minutes.
Survivor Series 2016 results: Goldberg stuns Brock Lesnar in instant squash win
The Beast Incarnate fell to Goldberg in a stunning one-sided defeat in the main event of Survivor Series.

Goldberg got the iconic entrance from his WCW days, with him surrounded by security guards and then breathing the smoke from his pyro. Brock went for an early takedown but Goldberg shoved him off and hit a spear in the opening seconds. He hit a second spear that had Lesnar rolling around on the mat. One Jackhammer later and Goldberg became the first man to pin Brock Lesnar since he began his run as the Suplex City Conqueror.
Lesnar didn’t even get a single offensive in. This is a truly stunning result considering Goldberg didn’t participate in a single wrestling match for 12 years, and Lesnar had laid waste to everyone in his path, including Undertaker, John Cena, and Randy Orton. After the quick win, Goldberg’s son came into the ring and they celebrated together.
This match is sure to be talked about for months to come among WWE fans.
