Here is all you need to know about Brock Lesnar, who is now officially a member of the RAW roster thanks to Tuesday’s WWE brand split draft.
Suplex City is on Mondays, as ‘RAW’ drafts Brock Lesnar
Lesnar is a legit MMA fighter and amateur wrestler
Brock Lesnar has been considered one of the more legitimate and terrifying wrestlers in WWE for more than a decade in large part because of his background. He entered the WWE out of college, where he had an incredible career as an amateur wrestler. Lesnar then left wrestling and inevitably pursued an MMA career, where he became UFC Heavyweight Champion and then later united the two UFC heavyweight belts with another victory.
Lesnar also recently went back to UFC for a fight at UFC 200 against Mark Hunt. While many expected Lesnar to lose, he instead defeated Hunt and thrust himself right back into the top heavyweight rankings after years away. We shouldn’t be surprised, given he’s Brock Lesnar and his opponents are not.
Brock Lesnar, brought to you by Jimmy Johns
Brock Lesnar is sponsored by Jimmy Johns. He’s the only WWE superstar whose gear has a sponsorship on it, and it is possible that Jimmy Johns is the only thing that Brock Lesnar eats and/or is made of on an atomic level. Just bread and meat on his sandwiches, though: Brock doesn’t have time for your vegetables.
Brock has two weaknesses
There are only two ways to defeat Brock Lesnar in a wrestling match: punch him right in the Jimmy Johns, or hit him (repeatedly) with steel. Wooden objects like a kendo stick only amuse him, and as Dean Ambrose proved, Brock will suplex you before you can get a chainsaw running.
Now, if someone were to punch Lesnar right in the beans while wearing a steel gauntlet, it might be enough to vanquish Brock once and for all. Where were you on that, Dean?
