Here is everything you need to know about Cesaro, who is now officially a member of the RAW roster thanks to Tuesday’s WWE brand split draft.

The WWE Draft was made for dudes like Cesaro

Antonio Cesaro is the complete package. He’s ludicrously strong, dynamic in the ring, great on the microphone when he’s doing that whole “I’m European, so I’m better than you” thing and criminally underused.

Cesaro’s career has been floundering since his call up from NXT. His pushes have been stop-start affairs that see him always lingering around the mid-card, but failing to get the big push he needs into the main event status he deserves. Perhaps it’s a sign that WWE higher ups don’t believe an American audience can connect with an overtly European star, but whatever the reason, he deserves more.

The split gives him the chance to forge a name for himself and challenge that top-tier of the roster without needing to wade through ex-Shield members John Cena and AJ Styles. He can do his own thing -- and it will be beautiful.

He once wrestled as “Very Mysterious Ice Cream”

Cesaro adopted a weird name during his time with Chikara in 2007 -- “Very Mysterious Ice Cream.” It was almost like when Edge and Christian were Los Conquistadores. I’m writing this only to make sure you know about his “Very Mysterious Ice Cream” moniker, which needs to be a chant.

Former WWE superstars LOVE Cesaro

While the company might not be pushing Cesaro, former legends are. Mick Foley said his one change to WWE would be to “push Cesaro” and Ric Flair said he should have already had a WWE title run. Heck, even Stone Cold Steve Austin has been vocally supportive of Cesaro, saying he needed “to go up on top of the card.”

This might be the chance to FINALLY give him the push he needs.
