Here is all you need to know about Roman Reigns, who is now officially a member of the RAW roster thanks to Tuesday’s WWE brand split draft.
‘RAW’ drafts former WWE Champion Roman Reigns

He’s not a bad guy; he’s not a good guy
Roman Reigns would like you to know that he doesn’t fit the traditional spheres of heel and face. He’ll be the first to let you know — ad nauseam at that —but that’s what is making Reigns a successful wrestler. He’s just “the guy.” The children can cheer him on while the adults can hate his guts. The interaction from the fans is a lot like John Cena’s, only Reigns brings out even more impassioned fans.
Reigns is WWE’s pick to be the next biggest star
Part of the beauty that is professional wrestling isn’t what takes place in the ring or even when the cameras are around. It’s the politicking that takes place behind the scenes that fans enjoy.
Much to the chagrin of Roman Reigns, however, this is why he started getting booed relentlessly. Make no mistake: Reigns can perform as well as, if not better than the majority of the current roster in the ring, but WWE has not shied away from declaring Reigns their next top guy. With the main event picture stacked, now may be the time for Reigns to find his own way without the fans’ criticism of how fast he got there to begin with.
Roman Reigns is returning soon from a Wellness Policy violation
In the midst of one of the most anticipated feuds that WWE currently has to offer — a triple-threat match featuring all former members of The Shield — Roman Reigns was suspended by WWE for 30 days. As a result, the buildup to the match has pitted just Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins against each other. But while Reigns is out for the draft, he will return at WWE Battleground on Sunday, just in time to try to get the title he lost last a month back.
