The Royal Rumble is happening on Sunday, Jan. 29.
Open some beers for the 2017 WWE Royal Rumble drinking game
Give us a hell yeah, and play along with us during this year’s Royal Rumble.

The Royal Rumble match is one of the most important WWE has in a year, as it helps set up the main event of WrestleMania, the most significant wrestling show out there.
It’s also a chance for us to drink a whole lot by playing a drinking game, because there are tropes to point out and exploit.
Below you’ll find the rules for SB Nation’s Royal Rumble Drinking Game. In the spirit of wrestling, we also want to give you an extreme rules stipulation where you can drink for every elimination that occurs in addition to the drinking these specific moments will have you do.
Just know that right out of the gate, you’re committing yourself to 29 extra times of drinking on top of the rest.
Try not to do this with a bottle of vodka or whatever. Pull a Stone Cold Steve Austin and pound some beers for the occasion instead. We do want you to remember the Rumble match and be alive to see the Rumble fallout the next night on RAW, you know.
Drink once if...

Drink twice if...
There’s a Shield tease
Triple H gets involved
Someone is eliminated before getting into the ring/right after
Kofi saves himself from elimination in a ridiculous way
There’s a double team/group elimination

If you’re more of a visual drinker, we also put this into a graphic for you to keep open and refer to during the Rumble match:
