There’s been a huge upset in the WWE Royal Rumble pre-show, with Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows killing the magic of the duo of Cesaro and Seamus to win the Raw tag team championships after almost a year of chasing the titles.
The Club win ‘WWE Raw’ tag team championships in Royal Rumble pre-show
Cesaro and Seamus have been dethroned in shocking fashion.

It’s a shocking result, with the odd couple of Cesaro and Seamus widely expected to retain their titles a little longer, especially with the stipulation of the match putting two referees in the ring to help deal with the physical nature — and occasional rule-breaking tactics — of the wrestlers involved.
Instead, after a brief spell of dominance by the champions, the Club started cleaning house, including a clever move from Anderson that saw him duck a Brogue Kick from Seamus that instead took out one of the referees. It forced the Irish bruiser to operate more conservatively, like when he had to pull a punch because there was a risk of hitting the remaining referee.
That gave the Club the opening they needed, hitting Seamus with the Magic Killer before Anderson rolled up Cesaro for the win. Now the question is what’s next for Cesaro and Seamus. Those titles were basically all that was uniting the duo, and what happens if they face off in the Royal Rumble match later on in the night will be fascinating to watch unfold.
