WWE Hall of Fame 2017: Time and live stream for induction ceremony

Kurt Angle headlines a stellar Hall of Fame class for 2017.

On Friday, WWE will induct its 2017 Hall of Fame class, and it’s a big one. The class is headlined by Kurt Angle, whose later years as a performer came in another organization but who built his name with WWE.

Angle is one of six inductees to be enshrined in a two-and-a-half-hour special airing live Friday on WWE Network beginning at 8 p.m. ET, with a one-hour “red carpet special” to air in the hour leading up to the actual ceremony. This all comes just before WrestleMania 33, which is set for Sunday.

Viewing the ceremony will require a subscription to WWE Network, though such a subscription will also include the aforementioned WrestleMania pay-per-view.

In addition to Angle, the class will include Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Express, Teddy Long, Diamond Dallas Page, Beth Phoenix and Ravishing Rick Rude.

Angle will be presented by John Cena, the Rock ‘n’ Roll Express will be presented by Jim Cornette, Page will be presented by Eric Bischoff, Teddy Long by the APA, Phoenix by her long-time tag team partner, Natalya and Rude by Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat.

The ceremony is all fan-service, and is basically put on to hype up WrestleMania, but for any wrestling fan, it’s a good chance to see some of the best to ever participate in the company in one building. Vince McMahon will present each inductee with a Hall of Fame ring.

In addition to the Hall of Fame Class, the Warrior Award will be presented to former Rutgers defensive tackle Eric LeGrand by Dana Warrior. LeGrand suffered a spinal injury in 2010 and doctors believed he would never regain sensation in his body, and suggested that he may need a respirator to survive.

These days, LeGrand has some movement back and is breathing on his own, and spends his time as an inspirational speaker. The Warrior Award was introduced in 2015, and is given to those who have “exhibited unwavering strength and perseverance, and who lives life with the courage and compassion that embodies the indomitable spirit of the Ultimate Warrior.”

Below is all you need to watch the festivities on Friday.
