John Cena and Nikki Bella have had to listen to Miz and Maryse tear down their relationship for weeks now. They claim Cena and Nikki aren’t actually dating, but are just pretending for the cameras, and that Nikki will never be married to him because Cena is a terrible human being simply using Nikki to advance his own career — and, of course, vice versa.

Hey, it turns out the super mean things the bad guys have been saying to Cena and Nikki are not at all true!
While Miz handled John Cena with relative ease at first, backing up his assertions and showing himself to be who he said he would be in the ring against his rival, Nikki Bella was too much for Maryse. Eventually, it set the pair up for tandem finishers and the victory with a double pin.
So, Cena and Nikki withstood the physical onslaught of Miz and Maryse, and then Cena revealed in a post-match promo to Nikki that he had already revealed that “one day, I’m going to marry you” while she was all drugged up before undergoing potentially career-ending neck surgery.
CENA THEN GOT DOWN ON ONE KNEE AND PROPOSED TO NIKKI BELLA.
ALSO THE RING IS ENORMOUS. Damn, being WWE Champion all the time pays off.
I’m so happy for WWE’s premier power couple, and also for the next season of Total Bellas. What? Does it surprise you that WWE does scripted reality television well? It shouldn’t!
