Don’t Let Eddie Jones Inbound the Basketball

I’ve watched this video from last Friday’s Mavs-Hornets game half a dozen times, and I’m still completely confused by what Eddie Jones did:

“What was he doing?” [said in octave levels that only Tim Kurkjian could appreciate].
The answer to that question shall remain a mystery. Did he think the ref -- who had just handed him the ball -- was a teammate? Does Jones dabble in clairvoyance and already knew that Dallas was going to win anyways? Does Avery Johnson have a bigger mouth than Shannon Sharp?
