Please, Al Davis, Don’t Fire Anyone Else For ‘Cause’ Or Otherwise Ever, Ever Again

It’s not that we have any issue with the Raiders being a complete circus, firing and hiring coaches on a whim -- it’s that we can’t afford to see an Al Davis press conference ever again. We stared into the eyes of the crypt keeper and saw the rest of our lives flash before us, followed by a long tunnel with a light at the end where our passed loved ones were summoning us to join them in the afterlife. The power of Davis ... of Death himself ... was compelling us. ↵↵But then, just at the right moment, we turned off ESPN News and spared ourselves from hopefully seeing this:↵

↵... ever, ever again. Of course, our souls are not to be spared – Davis will certainly have another presser to announce the next head coach in the upcoming months. Then another to announce that coach’s firing shortly thereafter. And so on. So say your prayers, friends. You never know when Davis will pop-up on your television screen ...↵
