Pacman Jones Does What We Expect Pacman to Do, Tenure in Dallas May Be Done

Pacman Jones continues to find new and ironic ways to get himself in trouble. As you likely heard by now, he was involved in some sort of fight in a hotel bathroom on Wednesday morning, which means the wee hours of a Tuesday night party. Here’s where the irony comes into play: The man Pacman threw down with was one of his own bodyguards, there to help ensure Jones doesn’t get into trouble. ↵↵As you’d expect, this has the writers in Texas predicting Pacman’s demise as a Cowboy. First, the Dallas Morning News:↵

↵↵⇥The Pacman era at Valley Ranch is most likely about to end or be put on hold for a little while after he threw some haymakers at a hotel. I just can’t see tough-on-thugs Roger Goodell letting this one slide less than a month and a half after reinstating Mr. Jones.↵↵And seconding that is the Fort Worth Star-Telegram:↵↵⇥Jerry Jones steps up this morning, announces at Valley Ranch that he has ordered Pac-Rat to pack up, be gone immediately, never to return.↵⇥↵⇥And if Jerry goes gutless and lets it ride?↵⇥

↵⇥↵⇥Then Jerry is living a lie, because as the full escapades of Call-Me-Adam Jones began to surface Wednesday night, it became obvious Pacman repeatedly has made a fool of the only man in the NFL who wanted to help him. That’s you, Jerry. ↵⇥

↵↵(Oh snap! He called Pacman Pac-Rat. Get it? Jones must fill his garage with endless amounts of miscellaneous trinkets and such! Wait. No, I don’t get it either.)↵↵We should know soon whether Jones will face a suspension – or worse – because as fate would have it, The Commish was already at Valley Ranch yesterday for a planned visit with the Cowboys. As far as I’m concerned, this whole thing just wasn’t stripper-y enough for my tastes. If Pacman is gonna go out, I’d rather it be for something a bit sexier than a bathroom fight with another dude. Maybe a bathroom fight with a stripper. Two strippers. Yeah. That would be way better. ↵
