Kimbo Slice To Lose In Japan This Time

↵↵⇥↵⇥↵⇥↵⇥↵⇥↵⇥↵↵

↵
↵The man not getting his brain pulverized with fists in the video above is Badr Hari, who you may have heard of if you’re a fan of professional brain-scrambling, a.k.a. K1 fighting. ↵Hari will be of interest to you because he may be signed up to fight Kimbo Slice in March in Japan for K1, the MMA circuit where notables like Bas Rutten and Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic worked prior to their careers haunting your nightmares and frightening your children with their very existence. ↵
↵
↵This is all freshly translated off Japanese MMA blogs and therefore subject to all due scrutiny, but two things are clear: one, that Kimbo Slice cannot fight on the ground yet, and will therefore take his wares to Japan’s grapple-free K1 while his market price is above the subprime level; and two, that Kimbo Slice obviously needs to watch more film of Hari, the reigning heavyweight champion for K1 and a very experienced and pedigreed kickboxing badass.
↵
↵Kimbo, you were so much scarier when you were only on the internet beating up property managers in the backyard of some house in Miami. Like the guys at MMA post, I don’t want a Bob Sapp situation breaking out here unless we get the Bob Sapp press conferences with them in front of rows of baffled Japanese journalists. If you can guarantee this, we’re more than happy to go along with your Japanese tour, Kimbo, concussions and all.↵
