Sports don’t start and end with a referee’s whistle. FirstCuts, a blog dedicated to sports culture, will cover everything outside the lines, from games to gear.
It’s hard to believe, but Converse has been around since 1908. The final spot in Converse’s “Disruption” campaign began running on Monday and will run through All-Star Weekend, including during the dunk contest. The video is Julius Erving’s famous “Rock the Cradle” jam, juxtaposed against the rules being read during an old dunk contest.
