At the Intersection of Sports and Romance ...

By Spencer Hall
For Valentine’s Day, we’ve composed love poems for your favorite athletes.
For Shaq:
Roses are red,
And Shaq is a Sun
Steve Nash is small, so
Please don’t eat him, Shaq.
Seriously.

To Isiah Thomas:
Isiah, you mean the world to me;
Our love keeps me warm at night.
With no hope for the Knicks, I’m free!
Sexual Harassment never felt so right.
Valentine’s Night With The Patriots:
This night has been so magical;
Our love has lasted all night long.
Even though there’s work in the morning..
HEY? IS THAT A CAMERA IN THE CORNER?
To Kimbo Slice (limerick):
Kimbo Slice makes lots of dough
Beating up dudes in backyards
This poem is to say,
That on this special day,
I’m completely *$ petrified of you, Kimbo Slice, and you can have my lunch money at any time because I am small, weak, and not in possession of your ability to take hard punches to the face for cash or your majestic beard.↵
