Site News: TSB Is on and Poppin’ This Weekend

By Chris Mottram
Normally, we don’t do much posting during the weekend around these parts. We just aren’t advanced enough to post on our days off (see also: too lazy). But over the next two days, that will all change.

We will be covering the NBA All-Star Weekend, Daytona 500, and tomorrow night’s Kelly Pavlik/Jermain Taylor PPV fight in various capacities. Try to follow:
-- Sean Deveney and Stan McNeal are on the ground in The Big Sleezy, covering the All-Star festivities, while Bethlehem Shoals will be stuck writing about the madness from the comfort of his couch (probably for the best; bloggers are generally awkward in social situations).
-- Large will be liveblogging the fight tomorrow night, so you can tell HBO Pay-Per-View to shove it. Plus, this way you can watch the dunk contest and follow the fight(s) at the same time.
-- Matt Crossman is already in Daytona, where he is working on his tan (he is, after all, from Detroit. Quite pasty), huffing gasoline fumes and sending blog posts our way.
-- Also, Ryan Fagan’s 12-day epic Indiana hoops road trip continues. He’ll be visiting Valpo tomorrow and Ball State on Sunday.
So, yeah, lots going on over the next 60 hours or so. Entries will be posted as they come in, with no real rhyme or reason, so check back often.↵
