FirstCuts: Budweiser Still Thinks You’re a Caveman

By Chris Mottram
Sports don’t start and end with a referee’s whistle. FirstCuts, a blog dedicated to sports culture, will cover everything outside the lines, from games to gear.
There are three essential elements to being a man: Drinking, farting, chasing women. At least, that’s what the good people (see also: idiots) at Budweiser think about you (unless you’re a woman, in which case you’re way too smart to be the focus of Bud’s marketing campaigns).
Thanks to TSB reader Sean, we have yet another example of Bud focusing its marketing to the lowest common denominator. This was a Super Bowl ad that never made it to your television:

First off, we’re all dumber for having watched that. Second, what does farting have to do with drinking Bud Light? Actually, don’t answer that.↵
