Super Bowl Broadcast: First Quarter

By Brian Powell

Jordin Sparks of Idol Fame has the anthem (she better be under one minute and forty eight seconds) and we’re ready to go after that. It’s you, me, Aikman, and Buck folks. Let’s have some fun, and don’t let the House promos get in the way.
That girl can sing! There’s nothing like a flyover to get your blood pumping. The Super Bowl is finally here. Joe Buck tells us that the roof is officially closed for the game. Good to know.
“They’re going to drill a hole in her head.”- Dr. Gregory House
FOX Promo....imbibe! Man I would not want to be interviewed by Chris Meyers before the game. I’m surprised Belichick let anyone even go near him.
“These guys congregate before their first play.”- Joe Buck
It’s called a huddle Joe. It’s also good to see that the FOX Robot got a makeover for the big game as well.
“Brandon Jacobs for the last couple of weeks, you virtually see it every time he runs the ball, you know going right through Merriweather. He’s bigger than virtually every player on the field except Vince Wilfork.”- Troy Aikman
Virtually.
Solid start to the game for Buck and Aikman in all honesty. They’re keeping it straight business and all about Football which is nice. I expect that all to change when Tom Brady takes the field though.
No comment from Buck or Aikman about the extra two yards on the spot after a first down by Kevin Faulk. The Patriots can do no wrong everyone. Well that was about the quickest Super Bowl quarter I’ve ever witnessed. See you in a new thread for quarter number two folks.↵
