Well we have a 3-0 game after one quarter, but that’s likely to change in a play or two as the Patriots have it at the goal line. A pretty solid quarter for Joe Buck and Troy Aikman with only a few mistakes. Hopefully Joe Buck gets bored in the second, that’s when he’s at his best.
“Maroney set it up with a 43 yard kick return.......What set it up, the pass interference on Pierce. Patriots lead by four.”- Joe Buck
There’s the Joe I know!
Buck points out Giselle, but fails to mention a train-wreck looking Pam Anderson. I’m disappointed. Is it just me or is Ref Mike Carey speaking with an accent for this Super Bowl?
“Big brother Peyton was saying come on Eli speed it up.”- Joe Buck
There’s one mention of Peyton. I think the over/under was set for six. Good job by Aikman explaining how tough of a catch that was for Steve Smith. It’s not often an ex-QB sticks up for a receiver, but he should have had that one.
“He throwed it up there”- Troy Aikman (Via cwint2)
Great catch cwint2!
“We may not be the best announcers out there but our truck does that stuff the best.”- Joe Buck
What is “that stuff” exactly Joe? Graphics? Or making that stupid robot dance around??? I guess that’s the same thing.
“The Giants couldn’t have hoped for a better first half.”- Joe Buck
I could think of a few ways it could have been better. For one, how about not being down four.
Joe Buck only now seems to be getting excited with under 2 minutes left in the first half. I can’t stand how he seems like he doesn’t care for the better part of the game and then all of a sudden decides to perk up.
Well that’s the half. Pretty uneventful if you ask me. I’ll try to find some good footage of the halftime show, but if not I’ll see you for the 3rd quarter.↵
