Because this video is in Spanish, and you’re American (Dammit!), let me attempt to explain what’s happening here.
Italian actor Paolo Calabresi, who vaguely resembles American actor Nicolas Cage, used his clearly superior-to-Cage acting skills (note: that’s not saying much) to finagle his way into the Real Madrid-AS Roma soccer match last week.
But Calabresi didn’t just get into the stadium, he got to sit with Real Madrid’s team president in his luxury box, while wearing his specially made “Nicolas Cage” Real Madrid jersey. All the while, Calabresi was speaking English with a distinct Italian accent (27-second mark):
Guy Pretends to Be Nick Cage, Gets VIP Treatment
The Spaniards inability to detect that this man wasn’t the real Nicolas Cage means one thing: The Spanish have better taste in film than Americans. What I’m trying to say here is that Nick Cage is the worst actor in the history of American movie making.
