Vegas Update: Stand Up, Mountaineers

You can stand up at the end of games. You can stand up at the end. Sometimes, if you’re feeling froggy, you can stand up for the entire game.
But you don’t beat Duke, West Virginia, if this fan at Paris doesn’t stand up every time anything good happens to the Mountaineers. Every single time, mind you: he took no plays off, missed nothing, and stood up every time West Virginia so much as made a nice pass.

I salute you heartily, sir. If your were Iroquois, your name would be Standing Pumping Fist. If you were a song, you’d be “I’m Still Standing” by Elton John. Excellent work, sir: I firmly believe the Moutaineers wouldn’t be in the Sweet 16 without your efforts. ↵
