Kane Johnson, Australian footballer, was caught on videotape urinating in public, a not huge deal save for one detail: He chose to urinate against a very large police station, a move that drew a $5000 fine and a one game suspension from his club, the Richmond Tigers.
The real upside to the story comes with the tasteful headlines the Australian press dribbled out to accompany the tale.
“Damaging leak gets Tiger skipper banned”
“Johnson apologises over wee indiscretion”
“Tinkle, tinkle Tiger star”
The incident is the second in as many weeks involving an Australian football player. Brendan Fevola, a notorious partier, “disgraced himself again” on film by urinating on the glass windows of a bar the week before after getting into an altercation with a bartender.
Australian news is awesome and SFW:
Aussie Football Has a Wee Problem
You have to love a newscast that actually says an athlete “disgraced himself.”↵
