LeBron James Is Firmly on the Davidson Bandwagon

By Will Brinson
What an exciting slate of games last night! Oh. Wait. All of the college basketball last night was served up in blowout fashion. As far as the early games go, at least Stanford and Texas was close for a few minutes in the second half, but Texas ended up winning by 20 behind D.J. Augustin’s 23 points and seven assists. In Detroit, Stephen Curry went nuts again and Davidson spanked Wisconsin handily. Perhaps they were trying to impress LeBron James, who was attending as a guest of Davidson. If that’s true ... job well done, Mr. Curry. ‘Bron was clearly floored.

And not to pile on Bo Ryan and company, because they have a very, um, not-exciting-but-still-good basketball team, but Davidson needed just 73 points to blowout the Badge (who scored 56). Think about that -- do you know how freaking slow and plodding your basketball team has to be to get blown out by a team that scores only 73??
I personally had Davidson going to the Elite Eight in all my brackets and then losing to Kansas. Now I’m terrified I didn’t have them going far enough. We’ll preview the other games shortly, but for now, bask in the greatness that is Stephen Curry.
