Bruce Pearl Has Erin Andrews in His Circle

By Chris Mottram
Of course, we all remember this awkwardness from halftime of the Memphis-Tennessee game a couple weeks ago:

Well, afterwards it seems Pearl may have realized that groping Erin Andrews during ESPN’s most-watched broadcast since ‘98 may have been slightly inappropriate. So naturally, he sent her a text about it (as told to SI’s Dan Patrick):
“Erin is a terrific sideline reporter, she knows the game, but she’s also very engaging. I actually called her and texted her back, and I apologized if in any way that was unprofessional.”
There is more to the interview, so check it out, including Pearl’s admission that Erin is “way out of my league.” Interesting, considering the caliber of ladies Pearl has been known to mingle with.
UPDATE: With Leather’s photoshopping expert, TwoEightNine, has another gem based off this story.
