‘Jerseygate’? You Have Got to Be Kidding

This was already the dumbest story ever in the history of all-time dumb stories, but as if that wasn’t enough, ESPN is now coining it “Jerseygate.” Seriously:↵

↵↵Please, god, make it stop. I’m not referring just to Gino Castignoli vs. the Evil Empire, or grown men threatening to fight each other over a David Ortiz jersey, or even the ridiculousness of a “rivalry” that nauseates the majority of baseball fans. No, I’m talking about “[Insert word related to scandal]gate.” Enough. New rule: No more adding “gate” to the end of words. It literally means absolutely nothing. ↵
