The Hardest Part of Learning Is Waking Up

Try and remember when you were a kid. It’s early. You don’t want to get up for school. Maybe you’re failing geometry, maybe you’re just lazy. The alarm is meaningless, and mostly just annoying. Basically, you’re cool with sleeping until someone realizes you’re absent.↵

↵So to recap: Education is important, and you need to recognize this so you can prosper in life. This is serious and a matter of compassion. But Amare’s decided that the best way to get this message across is to bellow, threaten physical violence, and brag about his accomplishments in the NBA. All for the children, of course. It’s a little-known fact that one out of ten American kids could be the next Amare Stoudemire if only they’d study their German vocab more enthusiastically.↵
