FirstCuts: 30 Rock Reminds Us About Olympics

NBC is ... what’s the word? Completely and totally shameless in its cross promotion of products and events in shows. So although 30 Rock was wildly hilarious in its season finale this past Thursday, they did manage to slip in an entire storyline based around the upcoming Olympics in Beijing.↵

↵This isn’t the first time NBC has used 30 Rock to promote something they’ve got going on. Just a few weeks ago, the network used 30 Rock to toss around some not-so-subtle promotions for the Stanley Cup Playoffs (on NBC). If 30 Rock wasn’t so outstanding, I’d be annoyed by this, but Tina Fey and Tracy Morgan are too funny, so it’s pretty hard to stay angry with them.↵
