Proof The Media Picks What Sells

It came to my attention this morning, thanks to astute SN member TheRock2020, that the media makes its picks based on what will sell:
↵↵⇥The reason why the public made more accurate picks than the↵⇥sportswriters is because the public makes selections based on what they↵⇥really believe, as opposed to sportswriters, who make selections based↵⇥on what sells best. That may be sad, but it is true.↵↵Because I strive for journalistic integrity, I’ve gone through the trash bins here at Sporting News to find evidence and I believe I’ve got something that will blow the Matt Walsh tapes out of the water.↵

↵↵

↵↵That’s right, we’re talking a high-level chart that documents how a company could’ve profited from the continued success of the Patriots. Mr. Specter, forget about Spygate; I’ve got your next investigation right here.↵
