↵This brings me to my next point: Why in the hell is Gammons doing sideline reporting, where he’s forced to regurgitate these pre-scripted bits, as opposed to doing real analysis in the studio? Or in the booth, for that matter, seeing as he’s more knowledgeable than Jon Miller and Joe Morgan combined. Gammons is one of about three ESPN “analysts” whose opinion is to be respected, yet somehow I’m still stuck listening to John Kruk and Eric Young.
