Please, No: More Red Sox Stuff Apparently Buried Under New Yankees Stadium

↵Surely, you still remember the story from a few weeks ago of the mason Gino Castignoli who buried a David Ortiz jersey in the fresh cement at the new Yanks ballpark. Because grown men inexplicably believe in curses, the concrete was busted open and the jersey removed. All of this was successful in one way: It reminded us of how incredibly stupid and overblown the Yanks-Sox rivalry is. I mean, this story was everywhere. Including here (but for mocking purposes only). And now, it’s back.↵↵Keith Olbermann said on last night’s Countdown that the program has “learned exclusively” that Castignoli, in all his genius, buried a 2004 ALCS program in the stadium as well. But this time, sneaky Gino ain’t tellin’ nobody where the goods are buried. On top of that, there may be even more crap in the concrete, according to Olbermann:↵

↵↵⇥“Castignoli has also told his friends several different stories about his hexing effort, in one, the shirt and the program are, as he says, ‘Just the tip of the iceberg.’”↵↵If nothing else, these latest admissions by Gino will help display just how stubborn and delusional Baby Steinbrenner is. How far will he go to insure that the new stadium is free of these jinxes? My guess: Implode the entire thing with C4 explosives.↵
