Time Stands Still For the Pistons

Shoals is once again absent as he’s on a spiritual journey to find his inner Chi. (Well, either that, or he’s stuck in an airport in Newark.) So, there will be no grand recap of last night’s NBA Playoff action (Chris Paul loses mind, Hornets take 2-0 lead … Detroit also up 2-0, but we knew they’d win this series before it started). ↵

↵But, there is this: controversy in Detroit! It’s not as good as body slamming or brink-walling guys, but it’s something. Keep your eye on the clock and watch as the Pistons get some home cookin’ from the time keeper:↵

↵So, the Pistons got a free three-pointer at the end of the third, but still won 100-93, which means that, in a bubble, that three didn’t matter. Of course, there is something to be said here for momentum and such, all of which lies firmly in Detroit’s corner.
