And the NHL Has Reached a New Low

Give these Jeopardy contestants a clue about the String Theory’s Dual Resonance Model and they’d nail it. In their sleep. But bring up the NHL, and, well, all you’re gonna hear is crickets:↵

↵What I love about this -- aside from the fact that the contestants’ names are Donna, Debbie and Dino – is that this was the $2,000 clue, meaning the show deemed it to be the most difficult of the “Sports” category. Although, granted, the Wild have only been around for eight years. ↵↵So you know, the $400 “Sports” clue was, “In 2008 Kelvin Sampson found he could no longer phone it in as the hoops coach of this ‘Hoosier’ school.” So, clearly, we’re talking about some serious sports enthusiasts here if they’re asking brain busters like that.↵
