Florida State’s Manager Is All Class

I’ve never played or coached collegiate athletics, but I imagine a large part of the position is molding these young guys into men. You know, teaching them strong morals through athletics that they can apply to their miserable entry-level, post-college office jobs. And clearly, no coach is doing a better job of that than FSU’s Mike Martin Sr., who refused to shake hands with the opposition after his team was ousted from the college world series yesterday:↵

↵What’s worse about Martin’s protest of sportsmanship is that just three months ago, these two teams nearly got into a brawl after FSU’s entire team refused to shake hands with Miami. The guys at The College Baseball Blog are calling for the FSU administration to punish Martin, which seems extremely unlikely. The field the Seminoles play on is named after the guy.↵
