The Home Run Derby Gets Artsy

↵If you’re a big fan of art and stuff, then you’ll appreciate this. If you’re not, well then feel free to mock away. Here is what the bases, homeplate and rubber will look like on the field at Yankee Stadium tonight during the Home Run Derby:↵

↵↵

↵↵They were designed by Fazzino, who specializes in 3-D pop art, which basically means most of his stuff is pretty trippy, man. At the FanFest, my traveling mate spent $175 on a 5x7 rendering of Yankee Stadium by this dude, so you know he must be good. ↵

↵↵And a quick programming note: We’re off to Yankee Stadium now for the pre-derby madness (not sure what that means, exactly), and then the Derby itself. I should have some more stuff up tonight, and definitely tomorrow morning.↵
