Putting the P into ESPN

Credit the Worldwide Leader for one thing: ESPN knows how to market itself well. Even their minor ad campaigns can get stuck in the head for years: I still find myself singing “When Phoenix meets the Liberty, we got that possibiliteeeee for overtime, OVERTIIIIIIME!!!” And that was for a WNBA promo from 1998, which yes, is really still stuck in my head, and yes, was actually created by a band called “The WNB-Ays.” I’d pay at least five dollars for that album, if anyone’s got a loose one floating around.↵↵While not their most subtle or classy work, this ad for ESPN Brasil certainly manages to be both eye-catching and interactive all at the same time.↵

↵↵If you hear the guy next to you at the urinal yell “GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL,” you’ll know why. If he offers to show you an action replay, though, go ahead and freak out at your leisure.↵
