We May Have to Support a Yankee

You can say what you will about Jason Giambi and his checkered past with steroids and man-thongs, but you simply cannot hold any ill will toward his glorious mustache. He’s been rockin’ the lip tickler all season, and finally, it’s getting the respect it deserves.
↵
↵Yesterday, after it was announced that Gaimbi is one of the five candidates in the Final All-Star Ballot, the American Mustache Institute threw its support Jason’s way: ↵↵⇥“It doesn’t take a mathematician to figure out that Jason Giambi’s hitting prowess plus a fashionable mustache, equals a bona fide All-Star,” said Aaron Perlut, Executive Director of The American Mustache Institute. “Giambi’s significant first-half production as well as his powerful lip fur – indicating great intellect and good looks – make two very compelling reasons for his place on the American League All-Star roster.” ↵↵I mean, sure, we all hate the Yankees and can agree they don’t need any more All-Star representatives, but dammit, if supporting one of them is good enough for the AMI, then it’s good enough for us. Plus, Giambi already said that if he gets voted in, he’ll get down on some Home Run Derby. After the disappointing season the ‘stache has been through, it deserves the national spotlight that comes with participating in the Derby.
