Last Sunday, the Philadelphia Soul won the Arena League Championship, which apparently is an accomplishment worthy of a parade. I guess when your city hasn’t won any real titles in the last 25 years, you take when you can get.

Bon Jovi Good at Hyperbole, Bad at Counting

↵↵Surprisingly, this Soul parade had quite a turnout. Just ask team co-owner Bon Jovi:↵
↵↵⇥Bon Jovi, who has performed in front of millions of fans, was impressed by the crowd’s exuberance.↵⇥↵⇥“I’d be lying if I told you 6 years ago that I would have envisioned 100,000 people on Market Street,” he said.↵⇥
↵↵Actually, JBJ would be lying if he told you today that there were 100,000 people on Market Street for the celebration. I know this because the VERY NEXT PARAGRAPH in the article told me so:↵↵⇥One high-ranking police official told a member of the Soul’s front office there were approximately 10,000 fans and onlookers lined along Market Street.↵↵Eh, only off by about 90,000. But good guess, Jon. Although you’ll understand when we question your assertion to having “seen a million faces, rocked them all.”↵
