How to Get Around Nintendo’s Pesky, 330-Pound Wii Fit Weight Limit

↵The kind souls over at the Balance Board Blog had the following post on Monday: “Too Fat For Wii Fit? Try This Simple Mod.” Here’s a look at said mod: ↵

↵Quoting the creator of the video: “For some reason, Nintendo did not build this thing for Americans, as we are much fatter than Japanese people. ... I was able to find a way to go through the gap and be able to play this game without being super skinny or super healthy.” ↵↵Actually, they did build this for Americans. They upped the weight limit from 300 lbs. to 330 for the U.S. release. Now look, I’m not trying to be insensitive here, but some of this invites ridicule. This is not a case of a 10-year-old girl being called fat. This is a grown adult attempting to engage in something meant for people who maintain -- at the least -- a level of activity akin to an elderly person. ↵
