The Chase Daniels-to-Jeremy Maclin Mizzou ↵connection brought bouquets of beauty to Planet Earth ↵today. The quarterbacks of Michigan State and Florida ↵Atlantic erased it all in East ↵Lansing.

↵Spartan QB Brian Hoyer went 5-for-14 for 89 yards and a ↵pick in the 17-0 Michigan State victory. FAU QB Rusty Smith ↵had 10 completions in 37 attempts for 147 yards. That’s 15 ↵completions between the two in 51 tries, a remarkably bad ↵29% rate of accuracy. At least the punters got a ↵workout.

↵This in no way connects to the just-beginning Michigan-Notre Dame game, which will no doubt ↵be a paragon of offensive excellence and passing aptitude.↵
