Plenty of Great Seats Still Available in Miami!

It’s not like we should really expect people to show up for a Braves-Marlins day game in the 95-degree heat index of Miami in September, what with both teams out of the playoff hunt and all. But this is just ridiculously pathetic:↵↵⇥Hanley Ramirez homered and doubled to lead the Marlins past the Atlanta Braves 5-3 Wednesday in front of an incredibly sparse crowd of just 600 fans at the first pitch.↵↵This should come as no surprise, though. Around this same time last season, a Nationals-Marlins game drew no more than 400 fans, one of which was tossed out of the game for heckling the home plate umpire. What does amaze me, however, is that even with just 600 diehards in the seats, the runaway bats still manage to find the people:
