NOBODY Messes With the New Jersey Sports & Exposition Authority and Gets Away With It

Yesterday, the internets were set ablaze by two videos of some Giants fans taking baseball bats, grills, their own legs, and whatever else they could find to a Porsche and an SUV in the Meadowlands parking lot Sunday following the Eagles-Giants game. We posted one of the videos here, which has since been removed by the genius who posted it on YouTube. This is probably because once the vandal sobered up, he realized that the videos could be incriminating.↵↵He would be correct. In an email with the subject line “you tube,” sent to us Tuesday afternoon by John Samerjan of the New Jersey Sports & Exposition Authority, we were assured that the incident is under investigation. The full text of the email from Mr. Samerjan:↵
↵↵⇥In response to the you tube video some facts from the NJSEA:↵⇥↵⇥1) the vehicles shown in the Stadium parking lot were damaged and/or totaled earlier in the day by a fire caused when the Porsche parked over coals from a tailgater↵⇥
↵⇥↵⇥2) the owners were notified during the game and our towing company was authorized to tow the vehicles out after the end of their parking lot duties..that occurred approximately 9 pm↵⇥
↵⇥↵⇥the video is under investigation as to when this later vandalism could have occurred. Our security and/or State Police are on duty until 8 pm on game days.↵⇥
↵⇥↵⇥We will continue the investigation and do everything possible to identify the vandals.↵⇥
↵↵Citizens of New Jersey: Be on the alert for a man in a Phil Simms jersey with blood running from the bottom of his jeans and an aluminum baseball bat in his hand. You can further recognize the suspect by yelling “f--- ‘da Iggles, AM I RIGHT!” in his general direction. If he replies in kind, he’s our man. Contact the NJSEA immediately.↵
