Spagnuolo Time in St. Louis

↵This year’s coaching dreamboat, Giants defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo, has reportedly been nabbed by the Rams. Bernie Miklasz of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports the team will announce Spagnuolo as the new Rams head coach later today, and adds that a Friday “presentation” which wowed the pants off St. Louis management (metaphorically, I hope) is responsible for the swift hire.

↵Funny that Spag would use PowerPoint to strong effect, given that Detroit seemingly hired Jim Schwartz because of his awesome Excel spreadsheets. What does Jason Garrett have to do to get a gig, whip a masterpiece highlight reel in Windows Movie Maker?
↵
↵The Rams have to figure out their offense now. Spag should help the awful St. Louis, but has no experience dealing with an offense ... and the Rams offense is just as bad as the D. But Steven Jackson’s a helluva weapon (like you need me to tell you) and given the autonomy a prospective offensive coordinator might receive under Spagnuolo, the team might be able to pull a good one.↵
